Managing Your Profile & Account Settings

Manage your profile, delete your account, and adjust notification, theme, and subscription settings in InvestMates from the side menu.

1. Viewing and Editing Your Profile

Steps

  1. Tap the hamburger menu.

  2. Select View Profile.

  3. To edit your profile, tap Edit, update your details, and tap Update Now to save.

2. Deleting Your Account

Steps

  1. Select View Profile.

  2. To delete your profile, tap Edit, In the Edit Profile screen, choose Delete Account.

  3. Confirm your decision to permanently delete your account.

    • Please note: Account deletion is irreversible after 30 days.

Important

  • Deleting your account will result in losing access to all portfolios, goals, and history.

3. Managing Notifications & Preferences

Steps

  1. Tap Settings from the side menu.

  2. Adjust your notification preferences, switch between Light/Dark themes, or restart the product tour.

4. Managing Your Subscription (Pro users)

Steps

  1. Under your name in the side menu, tap Manage Subscription.

  2. Tap View Details to see your current plan.

  3. If you wish to end your Pro plan, tap Cancel Subscription.

    • To change your plan, click Manage Plan at the bottom.

5. Other Menu Options

  • Product Tour & Theme: Re-launch the guided tour or toggle between Light/Dark mode.

  • FAQs, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy: Access help articles and legal information.

  • Sign Out: Tap Sign Out at the bottom of the side menu to log out, and confirm to complete the action.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Irreversible Deletion: Once confirmed, account deletion can’t be undone after 30 days.

  • Data Retention: Deactivating or deleting your account will remove all access to your portfolios, goals, and history.

  • Subscription Changes: Canceling your Pro plan will stop auto-renewal, but you’ll continue to enjoy Pro benefits until the end of the current period.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. I don’t see ‘Delete Account’.
    Make sure you’ve tapped Edit on the Profile screen—only there will the Delete Account option appear.

  2. Profile updates not saving.
    Check your internet connection and try again. A confirmation message will appear once the update is successful.

  3. Can’t find notification settings.
    Look under Settings in the side menu. They’re grouped with Theme and FAQ.

  4. Subscription option missing.
    Only Pro users can access Manage Subscription. You need to upgrade to Pro to access billing controls.
