Link /Delete Your Gold Investments in InvestMates

Adding and managing your gold holdings in InvestMates is easy.

From the Wealth dashboard, choose Link Account → Gold and follow the appropriate steps for each type of gold you hold.


1. Physical Gold

Steps

  1. Tap Link Account → Gold.

  2. Choose Physical Gold.

  3. Enter the following details:

    • Purity

    • Quantity

    • Purchase date

    • Purchase price

  4. Tap Add Investment to save.

Points to remember

  • Gold value will be calculated based on purity, quantity, and the entered price.

2. Gold ETFs

Steps

  1. Tap Link Account → Gold.

  2. Choose Gold ETF.

  3. Select your broker.

  4. Sign in via the Smallcase gateway.

  5. Approve access to sync your holdings.

Points to remember

  • Gold ETFs update automatically, and you can tap Sync anytime for real-time updates.

3. Sovereign Gold Bonds (SGB)

Steps

  1. Tap Link Account → Gold.

  2. Choose Sovereign Gold Bonds.

  3. Select the bond name.

  4. Enter:

    • Quantity

    • Purchase date

    • Purchase price

  5. Tap Add Investment to save.

Points to remember

  • SGBs are linked manually; make sure to enter the correct bond name and details for proper tracking.

4. Digital Gold

Steps

  1. Tap Link Account → Gold.

  2. Choose Digital Gold.

  3. Select your provider (e.g., PhonePe, Google Pay, etc.).

  4. Enter:

    • Quantity

    • Purchase date

    • Purchase price

  5. Tap Add Investment to save.

Points to remember

  • Digital Gold entries require provider details and accurate purchase data.

5. Adding More Holdings

  1. Tap + Add More to log additional gold holdings (for any gold type).

  2. Enter the details and tap Add Investment.

6. Editing or Deleting Your Gold Holdings

  1. Go to Wealth, tap the Gold card.

  2. Tap any holding to open details.

  3. To edit:

    • Adjust the quantity, date, and price.

  4. To delete:

    • Tap Delete to remove the holding entirely.

For Gold ETFs, tap the (overflow) icon on the card to either Sync or Disconnect.

Keeping your data up to date

  • Gold ETFs sync automatically and update daily.

  • Physical Gold, SGB, and Digital Gold require manual updates: tap Sync or re-enter values when necessary.

Frequently asked questions

  1. I tapped Delete, but the holding is still there.
    Pull down to refresh the Wealth screen; if it persists, try again or contact support.

  2. My ETF didn’t sync after reconnecting.
    Relaunch the Smallcase gateway via Sync or disconnect and relink the account.

  3. Can I recover a deleted gold entry?
    Once deleted, the entry is permanent. You’ll need to add it again manually or relink your ETF.
