How to Link / Delete Your GOLD in InvestMates

Learn how to add, manage different forms of goldin your InvestMates Wealth dashboard, so you can keep your portfolio up to date.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open Wealth → tap the Wealth icon→ tap Link Account → choose Gold.

  2. Pick a gold type:

    • Physical Gold → enter purity, quantity, purchase date & price → tap Add Investment

    • Gold ETF → select your broker → sign in via the smallcase gateway → approve access

    • SGB → select bond name → enter quantity, purchase date & price → tap Add Investment

    • Digital Gold → choose provider → enter quantity, purchase date & price → tap Add Investment

  3. Add more → tap + Add More to log additional holdings.

  4. Review & edit/delete → go to the Gold card in Wealth, tap on any holding to open details:

    • Edit → adjust quantity, date, price

    • Delete → remove the holding entirely

    • For ETFs → tap the overflow (⋮) on the card for Sync or Disconnect.

Things to keep in mind

  • Auto-sync: Only Gold ETFs update automatically when linked; manual types need you to tap Sync or re-enter values.

  • Data accuracy: Verify purity, bond names, and purchase details to ensure correct valuations.

  • One-click removal: Use the Delete or Disconnect option in the holding’s overflow menu to clean up your slate easily.

FAQs or Common Issues

  • “I tapped Delete but it’s still there.”
    Please pull down to refresh the Wealth screen; if it persists, try again or contact support.

  • “My ETF didn’t sync after reconnecting.”
    Re-launch the smallcase gateway via the Sync option, or disconnect and relink the account.

  • “Can I recover a deleted gold entry?”
    Once deleted, you’ll need to add it again manually or relink your ETF.
