How to Link, Edit, and Remove Your NPS in InvestMates

Managing your NPS in InvestMates allows you to keep track of your pension fund alongside your other investments.

1. Linking Your NPS

Steps

  1. Tap the Wealth icon at the bottom of the navigation.

  2. Tap Link Account and select NPS.

  3. Choose your Tier (Tier 1 or Tier 2).

  4. Tap Select Scheme and choose your scheme from the list.

  5. Enter the following details:

    • Investment Amount

    • Date of Birth

    • Units (Equity/Debt/Govt)

  6. Tap Add Investment to save.

2. Reviewing and Linking NPS

  1. After entering your details, preview your NPS values and scheme details on the preview screen.

  2. Tap Link to finalize and return to the Wealth dashboard.

  3. Your NPS will now be listed in your Wealth portfolio.

3. Editing or Deleting Your NPS

  1. In Wealth, tap the NPS card to open your holdings.

  2. In the details pop-up, choose Edit or Delete.

  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to modify your details or confirm removal.

    • Edit: Change details like investment amount, scheme, or units.

    • Delete: Remove the NPS holding from your portfolio.

Keeping your NPS data up to date

  • Manual updates only: NPS values do not auto-sync. You will need to edit your details whenever contributions or NAV values change.

  • Scheme selection: You can only have one scheme per Tier. To switch schemes, delete the current one and add a new one.

Frequently asked questions

  1. My scheme isn’t in the list.
    Schemes are grouped by Tier. Verify you’ve selected the correct Tier before opening the list.

  2. I tapped Add Investment, but nothing happened.
    Make sure you’ve filled in all required fields (amount, DOB, units) correctly. All fields must be completed for the action to proceed.

  3. I changed my mind—can I restore a deleted NPS?
    No, deletion is permanent. You’ll need to add the NPS again via Link Account → NPS.
