Otto AI Walkthrough: From Account Linking to Actionable Advice

  1. Open the InvestMates app. Tap the Otto icon in the bottom navigation bar.

2. You will now be taken to the Otto landing page, as shown below. From here, you can explore Otto’s features by tapping the Get Started button.

3. On Otto’s chat screen, you’ll see a few default questions, Tap any of them to preview Otto’s responses and understand how it provides insights, rationale, and tactical notes.

4. You will find the response from Otto as shown below

5. On the same chat screen, tap the Personalization icon (slider icon) located to the left of the “+” button.

6. Tap Link Banks, Brokerages & More.You’ll be taken to the Link Assets screen.

7. Define Risk Profile :

  • Tap Risk Assessment and here you have to choose one of two options:

  • Complete Your Risk Profile — guided questions for precision.

  • Set Up Your Own Profile — directly select Conservative, Moderate, or Aggressive.

  • Tap Save once finished.

  • Otto tailors portfolio insights and investment recommendations based on this profile.

8. Create and Manage Goals

  • Tap Start Planning Your Goals.

  • Choose from pre-set goals like Retirement, Wealth Growth, or Home Purchase.

  • Add goal amount, timeline, funding details, and desired risk level.

  • Tap Save to activate the goal tracker.

  • Otto continuously tracks your goal progress, investment performance, and contribution gaps.

9. Personalize Your Experience

  • Tap Personalize under Otto’s setup flow.

  • Add optional context for deeper personalization (Age and Retirement Age, financial goals etc.)

  • Tap Save.

  • Example: “I’m 40, earning $200k/year, planning to retire at 60, with $500k in equity and $200k in property.”

10. Review FAQs, Saved Chats & History

  • Tap (menu icon) in Otto → choose FAQs, Saved, or History.

  • FAQs — short answers to common queries.

  • Saved — your bookmarked Otto outputs.

  • History — past interactions for easy reference.
