Linking your Indian equity holdings takes only a few taps. From the Wealth dashboard, choose Link Account → Stocks and follow the method that matches your broker.

1. Direct Broker Login

(Zerodha, Groww, Angel One, Upstox, 5Paisa, Motilal Oswal, IIFL, Fisdom)

Steps

  1. Select your broker from the list.

  2. Log in on the secure broker page.

  3. Approve read-only access.

  4. Wait for the Congratulations message—your positions appear within minutes.

Advantages

  • Complete data: average price, invested value, real-time P&L.

  • Zerodha and Groww refresh automatically every night.

Limitations

  • Other direct-login brokers need a manual Sync tap once per day.

  • Only the brokers listed above are supported for this method.

2. Account Aggregator (NSDL / CDSL)

Use this when your broker isn’t in the direct-login list.

Steps

  1. Tap Don’t see your broker?

  2. Enter your PAN and mobile number; verify the OTP.

  3. Choose NSDL or CDSL.

  4. Select the demat accounts you want to link.

  5. Tap Approve—holdings import automatically.

Advantages

  • Links multiple brokers in one go.

  • New trades sync on a T+2 basis (every two business days).

Limitations

  • Average price and invested value aren’t available for these holdings.

3. Delete / Disconnect a Stock Account

  1. In Stocks, switch to Account view.

  2. Tap the overflow icon beside the account.

  3. Choose Disconnect and confirm.
The account disappears immediately, and InvestMates stops syncing it.

Keeping your data up to date

  • Zerodha & Groww refresh nightly.

  • Other direct-login brokers: tap Sync under Holdings each day.

  • Account Aggregator links update on the next T+2 cycle.

Frequently asked questions
